Privacy policy

This website is purely an information site about the software Omnipacto. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics tools and embeds no third-party content (no external fonts, videos or maps). There is no user tracking.

Hosting

The site is served from a server I operate at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (region Frankfurt am Main, Germany). When you open the site, your browser necessarily transmits your IP address so that the page can be sent back to you. The web server keeps no access logs containing IP addresses. The legal basis for the transmission is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (provision of the website).

Contact by e-mail

If you write to me by e-mail, I process your details (address, content) to answer your enquiry, legal basis Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR. Messages are deleted once the enquiry is settled and no retention obligations stand in the way. The mailbox is hosted by STRATO AG, Berlin.

The software Omnipacto

Omnipacto is software you run on your own device. It transmits no data to me or to third parties and contains no telemetry. You are responsible for the processing within your own installation.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Data Protection Commissioner of Lower Saxony (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen).
